Russia Bombs Ukrainian Capital With ‘Suicide Drones’

Ukrainian capital, Kyiv was shaken by Russian drones with multiple bombing raids. At least 7 people were killed in the air raids that were carried out by suicide drones destroying sensitive infrastructure and cutting off electricity to the region. A number of civilians were injured by the attacks, but the numbers were not confirmed by the authorities.

Russia Army Will Be Wiped Out If It Uses Nuclear Weapons; Says EU

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said that Russian forces in Ukraine will be wiped out if it uses nuclear weapons in its war against Ukraine. While talking in Brussels that the west will respond with the same harshness to the Russian nukes. He stated this while talking to an audience in the European Diplomatic Academy.

UNGA Condemns Russia’s Illegal Annexation Of Ukraine

On Wednesday, the United Nations General Assembly rejected Russia’s annexation of Ukrainian territory supported by an overwhelming majority. Russia officially occupied four key regions of Ukrainian territory in a referendum late September. The move to occupy more than 15% of the territory met with anger from the West and the United Nations.

Ukraine Asks G7 For Air Defence Weapons

In retaliation to the collapse of an important bridge linking Russia to Crimea, Russia has been bombing major Ukrainian cities for the past 3 days. Ukrainian officials have called upon G7 countries to extend air defence systems that can intercept Russian rockets hitting Ukrainian civilians and energy infrastructure.

Russian Rockets Hit Multiple Ukrainian Cities Including The Capital

Russian missiles targeted Multiple cities in response to the collapse of an important Russian bridge linking Russia with Crimea. The missiles targeted Lviv, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Dnipro and the capital Kyiv. The missiles launched by Russian forces targeted civilian infrastructure in all cities leaving massive craters afterwards.

2 Russian Soldiers Arrived In US Claiming Asylum

2 Russian soldiers have arrived in Alaska by boat amid Russian aggression in Ukraine. Russian forces have been facing hundreds of casualties in its war in Ukraine and many have protested not to join Putin’s partial mobilization last month. The 2 Russian soldiers have arrived in the US by avoiding their military service in Ukraine.

Putin Warns US Of An All Out War

With Western aid pouring in to strengthen Ukrainian military capabilities, Russia has warned US and its allies of consequences if it doesn’t cease to send aid to Ukraine. The US has sent military equipment of more than $17 billion since the start of the war.

Pope Urges Putin To Stop Its War In Ukraine Immediately

Pope Francis urged the Russian president to stop its war in Ukraine saying it could escalate into an all out nuclear war. His speech was both dedicated to Ukrainian people and Russian people living on the other side of the Ukrainian international boundary, Russia.
