On Sunday, in talks with Defense Ministers from the US, UK, France and Turkey, Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu warned that the risk of escalation in the Ukraine War was on the rise and Kiev might plan to launch a so-called “dirty bomb”, reports the Wall Street Journal.
Dirty Bombs combine traditional explosives with radioactive material and can contaminate large strips of lands, while not killing too many people directly.
The US and Ukraine suspect that Russia is making the allegations to use such weapons in false-flag operations and potentially give Russia the Pretext to deploy nuclear weapons itself.
