Iran Blames The US For Creating Chaos

Iranian authorities are facing nationwide protests for 10 consecutive days in the country. The protests have so far resulted in the death of more than 40 people including Iranian security officials till now. Iran has accused the US and other European states of undermining Iran’s sovereignty by supporting the protests.

Gunman Kills 13 Including 7 Children In Russia School Shooting

A gunman opened fire on civilians including teachers and several security guards. The incident took place in the Russian city of Izhevsk, about 1000 km east of the Russian capital, Moscow. The shooting wounded 14 children and seven adults, according to the latest reports.

Mighty Storm Hits Eastern Canada

A powerful storm has hit the eastern part of Canada hurricane-force winds days after it destroyed parts of the Caribbean leaving more than a million people without electricity in Puerto Rico. The recorded speed of the storm is reported to be around 90 miles per hour in the Atlantic Ocean in eastern Canada.

26 Dead As Violent Protests Continue In Iran

A Week of protests have led to the death of 26 people and are likely to rise as clashes with security forces continue. The protests have created chaos in more than half of Iranian provinces after a week. The clashes with security forces have resulted in injuring more than 50 people. Thousands of Men have also joined the protests.

North Korea Rejected Accusations Of Sending Arms To Russia

Earlier this month US intelligence reported that North Korea has sent military equipment to Russia. North Korea recently denied the accusation of sending any equipment or ammunition to Russia after it invaded Ukraine in February. North Korea termed the accusations as ‘‘rumours’’ and the US is deliberately trying to degrade North Korea’s image.

Putin Wants End To War: Says Turkey’s President Erdogan

Russia wants to end the war and hold talks with the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in an interview. President Erdogan held talks with the Russian president in a meeting held in Uzbekistan on 16 September.

6.9-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Southeast Taiwan

The Taiwanese buildings have been constantly shaking for the past 24 hours. There were a total 20 earthquakes in the past 24 hours in Taiwan. A magnitude 6.9 earthquake hit Taiwan’s south-eastern part today causing 700 people trapped in buildings. The rescue work is going on for the remaining victims of the earthquake.

Russia Accused Of War Crimes After Discovery Of Mass Graves

Ukrainian officials have discovered hundreds of bodies buried in eastern Ukrainian city of Izium. More than 450 dead bodies were recovered from the site as per Ukrainian officials. The city of Izium was recaptured by Ukrainian forces after being in control of Russian forces for 6 months.

Fire Broke Out At Skyscraper In Chinese Central City

Chinese state media reported that a fire has broken out, in the afternoon, in the capital of Hunan province, China’s Changsha city. Video of the incident was shared on social media and so far, the number of people dead or injured is still unconfirmed. 

Russian Missiles Targeted Major Dam Causing A Flood

Central Ukrainian City came under Russian missile raids that rocked the entire city. The missiles targeted Karachunov reservoir dam that provides water to more than 650,000 people according to pre-war population census.
