North Korea Rejected Accusations Of Sending Arms To Russia

Earlier this month US intelligence reported that North Korea has sent military equipment to Russia. North Korea recently denied the accusation of sending any equipment or ammunition to Russia after it invaded Ukraine in February. North Korea termed the accusations as ‘‘rumors’’ and the US is deliberately trying to degrade North Korea’s image.

Biden Given A Shut Up Call

In a reply to Washington, the North Korean state-run news agency threatened not to spread false accusations as North Korea has not sent any weapons and does not intend to do so in near future, ‘‘we have never exported weapons or ammunition to Russia before and we will not plan to export them,” KCNA said on Thursday. The statement told Washington to “keep its mouth shut” and restrain from spreading “reckless remarks”.

North Korea Supports Russian Invasion

North Korea has officially supported the Russian invasion and even offered to rebuild two self-proclaimed republics, Donetsk and Luhansk occupied by Russian Forces. Russia vetoed a draft resolution imposing sanctions on North Korea in May.
