A German agency has announced to quit X, previously known as Twitter, over increasing hate and intolerance on the platform.  Germany’s Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency accused the platform of not regulating anti-minority sentiment, putting many lives in danger.

German Defense Minister has said that the country’s armed forces cannot attract fresh recruits. The Bundeswehr, the armed forces of Germany, is struggling big time to find new recruits amid increasing Russian threat from the eastern border. The German armed forces are increasingly worried about the public’s interest in joining the military, the ministry said.

Germany’s government announced new foreign policy objectives based on feminist guidelines. Germany’s left-wing government introduced its new foreign policy agenda on the principles of feminism and equal representation of both genders. German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock along with Development Minister Svenja Schulze presented the new foreign policy guidelines.

Nurse During Hangover Killed Patients To Take A Nap

A male nurse has confessed to killing two elderly people during a hangover just to make them quiet. One patient was 80 and the other one had 89 years of age. Mario G, the nurse, said sorry to the court and confessed to killing two patients because he just wanted to keep them calm, so that he could enjoy the rest of the time. The deaths took place at a hospital in Munich, Germany.

After being found guilty of complicity in the death of more than 10,500 prisoners locked at a Nazi concentration camp, a 97-year-old former secretary was given a two-year suspended sentence. Irmgard Furchner had worked as secretary to lieutenant colonel Paul Werner Hoppe at Stutthof Nazi concentration camp and worked there from 1943 to 1945.

25 people have been detained, across Germany,  by the police for being involved in an anti-government coup plot. All of the individuals arrested belonged to the far-right German organization. The members of the organization were suspected of having an organized  small armed gang and had plans to capture the German parliament by force.

Knife Attacker Kills School Girl In Germany

In southern Germany, two girls, on their way to school, were attacked by a man with a knife. A 14-year-old girl died, while a 13-year-old girl has suffered significant injuries. Both the girls were transferred to the hospital where the older one died due to injuries.

Thousands of people including Iranians and Kurds have come out in support of the peaceful protests in Iran. The protests in Iran have been going for the past 37 days triggered by the death of a 22 year old Kurdish woman, in Iranian Police’s custody. The protestors took to streets in Berlin, Los Angeles, Washington, Stockholm, UK and Tokyo, in solidarity with the Iranian people.

Poland Demands Germany To Pay $1.3 Trillion For World War II Damages

The Polish government has demanded Germany to pay $3 trillion compensation for its alleged role in destroying Poland in the second world war. Such demands have been put forward by Poland in the past as well. Before the visit of a German diplomat to Poland, Foreign Minister of Poland signed a diplomatic note to Germany to pay for the damages.
