US president Joe Biden recently said that he is willing to talk to Putin to end the war in Ukraine. Although he has no immediate plans to speak with Vladimir Putin, he is willing to do so if he expresses interest in putting an end to the conflict in Ukraine, in consultation with the NATO allies.
Two civilians were killed in a missile strike on Tuesday in the Polish town of Przewodow, near the Ukrainian border. Poland is a member of NATO and President Biden made clear in recent months that the US will defend every inch of NATO territory.

A fire that was caused by a flare gun killed 15 people in the Russian city of Kostroma. According to the local authorities, a fire erupted after individuals in the cafe used a flare gun in a minor dispute. The city of Kostroma is home to 270,000 people.

A number of civilians were injured by the attacks, but the numbers were not confirmed by the authorities.
At Least 11 soldiers have been killed in an attack on a Russian military camp near Ukraine. The attacker also wounded 15 soldiers in the lethal attack. Attack happened in the southwestern Belgorod region that borders Ukraine.
