Scientists Fight To Save Human History From Climate Threat

For decades, Scientists have been warning global leaders about the disastrous effects of climate change for humanity. Now in order to preserve ancient human history from destruction, scientists are preparing to preserve it from the changing climate.

Scientists Are Using Oceans To Reverse Climate Change

Scientists have been working to reverse and mitigate the impact of climate change on the environment by using a wide range of techniques. Greenhouse gasses have skyrocketed in the last few decades and now scientists have started to use oceans to capture the huge amount of carbon dioxide in the air.

Oil Companies Must Be Charged With Homicide, Experts Say

Legal experts have suggested charging the fossil fuel companies of Homicide for causing severe and irreversible damage to the environment. World Is Heating Up To Unprecedented Levels, UN Says

Scientists and climate advocates have been sounding the alarm for decades about the adverse effects of climate change on human well-being. A new report by the UN shows how our planet is heating up to unprecedented levels carrying catastrophic results for the future generations.

Australian River Finds Millions Of Dead Fish

Millions of dead fish were washed up to the side of the river in New South Wales’ (NSW) town of Menindee. The dead fish covered 30 kilometers of area above the Darling-Baaka river, the third longest river in Australia. The residents said the smell was unbearable as millions of fish float around the surface of the river, most probably due to the heatwaves affecting the river.

Scientists Set To Convert CO2 To Energy To Save Climate

As carbon dioxide continues to explode, scientists are worried about the future of life on earth. Scientists are improvising to come up with innovative ways to convert CO2 to something that can help reduce its effect on the environment.  Professor Andrew Bruce Bocarsly said we can convert CO2 to energy, but doing it is a big challenge.

Research Shows Moon Dust Can Reduce Global Warming

Global warming has increasingly become realized to be a global issue in the last few decades. Different mechanisms have been developed to counter the phenomenon. An interesting new study found that global warming can be reduced by firing moon dust into space. The moon dust could solve the problem of continuous temperature rise.

Air Pollution Can Change Brain Structure In Just 2 Hours

A research study revealed that air pollution, especially car fumes can significantly change brain structure. An exposure of just 2 hours can reduce the portion of the brain responsible for internal thought processes and memory, the study finds. Brain imaging was conducted prior and the exposure to air pollution showed decreased brain connectivity, as seen in the scans taken after.

London-Sized Glacier Breaks Off In Antarctica

An iceberg broke off from Antarctica last Sunday, researchers said. A massive iceberg, nearly the size of Greater London, separated from the Brunt Ice Shelf in Antarctica. Researchers first noticed significant fractures in the ice shelf a decade ago, but in recent years, there have been two significant separations.

Earth’s Ozone Layer Could Recover by 2066

A report by the United Nations has revealed that the depleted ozone layer will recover in 43 years. The Earth’s ozone layer, which protects out earth from UV radiations, is recovering at a rate that will close the hole above Antarctica in 43 years, a UN study conducted every four years mentioned. The scientific assessment has shown optimism in the recovery and full healing of the Earth’s protective layer.

83% Of World’s Glacier Is About To Vanish

Our planet’s temperature is increasing at an alarming rate. Forests are shrinking, floods are getting frequent, animals are getting extinct, and the glaciers are vanishing day by day. A latest report has revealed shocking figures as it claims that 83% or two-third of the world’s glaciers are projected to disappear from the surface by the end of this century.
