Eight dead bodies were recovered from St. Lawrence River, located at the US-Canada border. According to the border officials, the eight bodies were of the migrants that were trying to cross the border illegally to the United States.

The US military temporarily closed down the airspace over Montana. The closure came as the US military radar identified something threatening. A fighter jet was sent to investigate the aerial object but couldn’t find anything in the air. The air space was opened for commercial airlines after the brief closure.

China has threatened to respond after the US shot down the second Chinese spy balloon. The US recently shot down the second Chinese balloon that was spotted over Latin America. US officials advised not to shoot down the first balloon as it could hurt the civilian population.
