Ukrainian Forces Retook 2,400 Square Miles From Russian Forces

Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, claimed to have retaken 6000 sq km territory as Ukrainian forces initiated the counter offensive in the south and eastern part of Ukraine. In a video message on Monday the president also urged the international aid, specifically air defence system, ‘‘to protect our skies’’, as he mentioned in his video message.

Britain’s longest serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, died ending her 70 years reign. The Queen ‘‘peacefully’’ died, Buckingham Palace announced in a statement at 12.32pm, at her home in Scotland on Thursday. Her lifelong companion, Prince Philip, died last year in April when he was sleeping.
