US Is Responsible For The Delay In Reviving Nuclear Deal, Says Iran

It has been 16 months since the inception of indirect talks between US and Iran after US imposed sanctions on Iran by backing up from the deal under the Trump administration. Iranian state run News agency, IRNA, has accused the US of delaying the nuclear deal under the pressure from certain interest groups.

Daughter Of Putin’s Closest Ideologue Killed In Car Explosion.

Daria Dugina, the daughter of Alexander Dugin, was killed when her car exploded when she was returning from a cultural festival along with her father. According to investigators, at around  9.30pm, Daria Dugina’s Toyota Land cruiser Prado  was torn apart by a mighty explosion about 20 km west of the capital near the village of Bolshiye Vyazemy at about local time. The father of Daria, Alexander Dugin is a Russian nationalist ideologist, known in the West as “Putin’s brain” and “Putin’s philosopher” for being the closest ideological ally to Putin. 

US To Supply $775 Million Worth Of Military Equipment To Ukraine.

On Friday, 19 August, Defense Department announced the release of a support package for Ukraine. The package of $775 Million worth military equipment will enhance the already highly equipped and sophisticated Ukrainian forces. The United States has been providing Ukraine with billions of military aid since 2014 with $10 billion only last year. 

China Threatens Taiwan As More U.S Officials Visit The Island

The threats initiated after the visit of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi continue as more US lawmakers visit the island. A US delegation composed of 5 key members will meet senior Taiwanese  leaders  to discuss Washington-Taipei   relations, regional security, and trade, 12 days after  US House Speaker Pelosi’s visit and amid increasing tensions with China. A US delegation of lawmakers landed in Taiwan for a two-days visit during increasing tensions between China and Taiwan.

Salman Rushdie, Author Of “Satanic Verses”, Stabbed On Stage

The 75 years old British author, Salman Rushdie was attacked by a man on stage when he was preparing to speak at the Chautauqua Institution in New York state. Rushdie, whose controversial writings have made him the target of death threats, for the past 2 decades and nearly a decade under police protection in the United Kingdom, is an author of numerous books. Hadi Matar, 24, around 10:45 a.m, Friday, rushed  to the stage., attacked him from his right side and an interviewer and then started to stab the 75-year-old author, police said.
