Saudi Arabia Released US Citizen Jailed For Tweets

The US citizen jailed in 2021, for tweets against the kingdom was finally released after the Saudi court order. Saad Ibrahim Almadi was arrested when he arrived in the kingdom’s capital to visit his family. The 72-year-old Saad Ibrahim was sentenced to 16 years in prison which was later increased to 19 years.

Elon Musk Fires 200 More Twitter Employees

In yet another round of Twitter layoffs, Twitter’s CEO Elon Musk has fired additional 200 employees. This is not the first time layoffs, but rather a continuation of the series of layoffs Musk has been doing since he took over. The journalists were banned when they shared location data of Elon Musk. The ban was lifted after the second poll Musk conducted. 59% of 3.6 million participants chose to lift the restriction right away.
