Scientists Uncover Secret Corridor In Pyramid Of Giza

The Egyptian Pyramids of Giza are one of the biggest mysteries that scientists have been trying to solve. The 4,500 years old pyramids mark the greatness of Egyptian civilization and were the world’s first tallest objects on record. While uncovering the mystery of the Pyramids, scientists have uncovered a secret nine meters long corridor hinting at something remarkable. 

Scan Pyramids Project

Under the Scan Pyramid Project that was initiated in 2015, Scientists have been using non-invasive technology to uncover the internal structures of the pyramids. The project is aimed at finding rooms, voids, burial chambers, and other ancient structures through non-destructive methods. The recent discovery of a secret corridor marks the success of the 8-year-old project. 

Scientists Are Not Sure

Just like any other discovery, the scientific community could not tell reporters what they are expecting to see. Egyptian archaeologist Zahi Hawass said that It might lead to more undiscovered chambers or “something important”.
