We Are Not Going Anywhere, ByteDance Tells US

The parent company of TikTok ByteDance has rejected rumors that the company was selling off its video platform.

The video sharing platform firmly rejected the claims of change of ownership after the US House passed a law seeking ban on TikTok in the country.

The new law forces ByteDance to sell off TikTok or face a ban after the due time.

ByteDance Responded To An Article

ByteDance’s statement came after a technology website The Information published a story claiming ByteDance was thinking of selling off TikTok without Algorithms.

TikTok, this week, made clear that “the facts, and the Constitution, are on our side… rest assured, we aren’t going anywhere.”

The New Law

The US President Joe Biden signed the TikTok bill into law on Wednesday laying a deadline for the potential sale.

The law calls on TikTok’s parent company to either sell off the company or face a potential ban in the US.
