The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations was detained by the security for breaching the protocol. When the Iranian President Raisi started his speech at the general assembly, the Israeli ambassador Gilad Erdan protested by holding a photo of Mahsa Amini.

Amid growing anti-regime protests that have resulted in more than 300 deaths, Iranian regime has arrested a famous football player. The popular footballer was arrested for backing anti-state protests back home. Voria Ghafouri was arrested for spreading propaganda against Iran, his home country.

The protests in Iran have been going for the past 37 days triggered by the death of a 22 year old Kurdish woman, in Iranian Police’s custody. The protestors took to streets in Berlin, Los Angeles, Washington, Stockholm, UK and Tokyo, in solidarity with the Iranian people.
Iranian authorities are facing nationwide protests for 10 consecutive days in the country. The protests have so far resulted in the death of more than 40 people including Iranian security officials till now. Iran has accused the US and other European states of undermining Iran’s sovereignty by supporting the protests.
A Week of protests have led to the death of 26 people and are likely to rise as clashes with security forces continue. The protests have created chaos in more than half of Iranian provinces after a week. The clashes with security forces have resulted in injuring more than 50 people. Thousands of Men have also joined the protests.
