A Japanese black hawk helicopter was reported missing after it disappeared from the radar, carrying ten people. The helicopter is reported to have crashed in the sea, north of Miyako island, where the helicopter was patrolling the waters. After a search and rescue operation, the Japanese military spotted parts of the helicopter floating in the ocean.
China has constantly been threatening Taiwan, the self-ruled island 180 km east of China. The United States has also significantly increased its military help to help Taiwan defend itself from Chinese aggression. But the recent report of China repairing the Taiwanese military device has become a matter of concern. The missile was specifically developed to deter military aggression by China.
The tension in the China sea has been extremely dangerous in recent years. With North Korea testing its long-range ballistic missiles to the volatile behaviour of China in the East China sea, the neighbours are expecting a provocation. Recently China has sent warships into the pacific threatening Japan’s territorial integrity.
