Google And Amazon Struggle To Cut Jobs In Europe

US tech giants are finding it hard to lay off workers in Europe. Unlike in the US where companies can lay off thousands of workers without having to face any consequences, strict labor laws in Europe makes it almost impossible to lay off workers. Companies must consult with labor interest groups prior to announcing the layoffs, leaving thousands of tech employees in confusion.

Alibaba has revealed its chatbot, a possible ChatGPT rival. Companies around the world are coming up with their own chatbots, grabbing the opportunity to be relevant in the age of AI. Alibaba announced the  ChatGPT-style product called ‘Tongyi Qianwen’, and said it’ll be integrated into other Alibaba’s businesses.

Google To Announce ChatGPT Competitor Named Bard

The tech giant is set to announce its own OpenAI chatbot called Bard. Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai made an announcement in his blog that mentioned that the new service is only tested in specific testing groups and will be available once the testing is done.

Amazon Drones Are About To Take Over Ecommerce

Amazon said Monday it will begin to deliver products using Prime Air drones in Lockeford, California, later this year. It’s the first time the company plans to use drones for customer deliveries in the United States.
