North Korea Unveils What It Calls Its Most Powerful Missile Yet

North Korea shows off ‘most powerful’ missile.

North Korea just rolled out the big guns — literally.

In a grand military parade in Pyongyang, the country unveiled what it’s calling its “most powerful” intercontinental ballistic missile yet.

The missile is called the Hwasong-20.

The event marked 80 years under the ruling Workers’ Party.

It wasn’t just about firepower — it was about showing the world that Kim Jong Un isn’t backing down.

And Kim made sure the world was watching.

Sitting beside him were top officials from Russia, China, and Vietnam, including Dmitry Medvedev — one of Vladimir Putin’s closest allies — and Chinese Premier Li Qiang.

Power And Propaganda

Their presence sent a clear message: Pyongyang isn’t as isolated as some might think.

North Korea’s state media described the Hwasong-20 as a “nuclear strategic weapon system whose strike range knows no bounds.”

Bold words for a missile that hasn’t even been flight-tested yet.

But as Professor Leif-Eric Easley from Ewha University in Seoul puts it, “The Kim regime clearly seeks the capability to destroy cities around the world.”

Analysts say the spectacle was as much about politics as power — a chance for Kim to flex strength abroad while reinforcing his grip at home.

Thousands cheered under the rain, waving flags as tanks rolled by.

Missiles, music, and messages — North Korea’s parades have it all, except maybe… restraint.
