China To Boost Nuclear Warheads To 900 by 2035

The Chinese government has been increasing its nuclear stockpile to 900 in the next 13 years. As the tensions with the United States continue to escalate, China is setting its eyes on the nearby Taiwan island, according to Japanese non-profit news agency, Kyodo News. The US military analysts hinted last year that China is increasing its nuclear warheads.

China Threatens After US Shoots Down Chinese Spy Balloon

China has threatened to respond after the US shot down the second Chinese spy balloon. The US recently shot down the second Chinese balloon that was spotted over Latin America. US officials advised not to shoot down the first balloon as it could hurt the civilian population. The US secretary of state, Antony Blinken also cancelled the two-day visit to China that was due to take place on Sunday.

Chinese Spy Balloon Flying Over US For Days

An alleged spy balloon has been in the air for the last few days. The balloon has been flying over sensitive locations such as nuclear sites and military installations. Defence officials said that the suspected airborne device “surely” belongs to China and is using it for surveillance.
