A chilling video has surfaced from inside the Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crash-landed near the Caspian Sea on Christmas Day.
The video shows a man capturing a passenger’s emotional message to his wife.
The flight was traveling from Baku to the Russian city of Grozny and was carrying 67 passengers from Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Tragically, 38 people lost their lives, and 32 people miraculously survived the crash.
Who Recorded The Video?
Among the survivors is Subkhon Rakhimov, who recorded a heart-stopping video as the plane plummeted.
In the clip, oxygen masks dangle from the ceiling, passengers cry out in panic, and Rakhimov alternates between filming the chaos and his tear-streaked face while praying.
Mr. Subkhon was also among those who survived the fatal crash, his family told the media.
According to Euronews, a Russian missile was responsible for the crash.
Security officials told the news agency that a Russian Pantsir missile system after the initial assessment.
