New York police are hunting for a suspect in the shocking murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson as they released the latest images.
Authorities previously released two masked photos of the suspect, but the latest images clearly show the suspect’s face.
What Happened?
Thompson, 50, was fatally shot in the back on Wednesday morning while walking to an investor conference where he was scheduled to speak.
The assailant, dressed in a cream-colored jacket and mask, had reportedly waited outside the hotel for five minutes before attacking Thompson.
After the shooting, the suspect fled on foot without touching Thompson’s belongings.
Who is The Suspect?
The Federal Investigation Agency has revealed very little information about the suspect who was seen leaving the scene on a cycle.
Investigators are using facial recognition technologies to match the suspect’s face with their record.
But they have not reached definite leads so far.
