People in the Newfoundland beach of Canada are curious and concerned after mysterious white blobs washed up on the shore.
The blobs were described by nearby residents as doughy that resembles poorly made bread with a vegetable oil-like odor.
Canadian authorities are investigating the cause but so far have remained unsuccessful, the BBC report mentioned.
Blobs Appearing On Multiple Shores
The mysterious substance was also seen along the shores of Placentia Bay, on Newfoundland’s southeast coast.
A local resident and an environmentalist, Stan Tobin, told the BBC that he had seen “hundreds and hundreds of globs – big globs, little globs” in the last one month, after then he alerted the Canadian Coast Guard.
Origin Still A Mystery
Despite official claims, the nature of the blobs and its origin remains a mystery till now.
The BBC report didn’t mention if the residents were still discovering the strange substance after this report was published.
