UK Says Elon Musk Civil War Comment is Unjustified

The United Kingdom has rejected Elon Musk’s civil war comment regarding the current unrest in the country, calling it “unjustified”.

Downing Street criticized Musk for his inflammatory remarks during far-right protests that has caused significant unrest in the nation.

While referring to the violent protests, the SpaceX CEO wrote “civil war is inevitable” on X, formerly Twitter. 

Minority Thugs

In response to Elon Musk’s claims, the Home Secretary Yvette Cooper rejected calling the unrest a civil war.

He said the protesters were just a bunch of thugs that do not speak for Britain.

The government has also been engaging with social media companies to play a responsible role by not allowing illegal and inflammatory content on their platforms.

Far-Right Protests

Far-right protesters have burned hotels and attacked mosques in several major cities in the UK against migrants and Muslims.

The protesters, pronounced as thugs by the government, took to streets after three girls were stabbed to death in Southport by a British-born man Rudakubana in Southport, falsely identified as Muslim.
