The BBC verify team has confirmed that Donald Trump’s supporters alerted the police about the presence of an alleged shooter on the roof-top before shooting.
After examining videos and testimonies of people, the BBC confirmed that police were alerted about the shooter but they ignored the warning.
Video Evidence Confirms
The video footage the BBC examined reveals that one man was talking to another man who appeared to be a police officer, pointing towards where the shooter was hiding.
One eyewitness who said he saw the shooter with the rifle, said he alerted the police, but they ignored the warning.
When asked if the person had a rifle, the witness said, “he had a rifle. We could clearly see him with a rifle”.
The BBC tried to contact the Police Department to respond but they have not answered back at the moment.
