A medical examiner has ruled the death of Nex Benedict, a 16-year-old teen, as suicide in a new report released recently.
Oklahoma’s chief medical examiner revealed in a partial autopsy report that Nex died of suicide by consuming multiple rings of medications.
The full autopsy report will be released after ten days, the medical examiner said.

The death of Nex Benedict sent shockwaves across the US, with many believing that the death was a result of bullying.
Nex’s mother, who later recorded her statement, blamed the institution for bullying.
The police at the time didn’t release any definite statement as they waited for an autopsy report.
Nex’s Story
Nex, a non-binary teen who used they/them pronouns, mysteriously died at home after a brief fight with some students in school.
CCTV footage revealed that Nex was able to walk properly and also talked to a security official in the hospital.
Nex’s mother called emergency services about Nex’s deteriorating health.
The teen later died in hospital, leaving many completely devastated.
