Two Men in the New South Wales Blue Mountains were hospitalized after being struck by lightning.
According to The Guardian report, both men were visiting scenic sites in the Blue Mountains of NSW.
Blue Mountains city council said bushwalkers were forced to take shelter from intense storms, but the two victims were somehow struck by lightning.
Victims Transferred To Hospital
The city council statement said the two victims were immediately transferred to Katoomba Hospital by ambulance.
The statement also praised the staff for providing quick evacuation.
“A major storm has caused chaos in the Blue Mountains today, with two people taken to hospital after being struck by lightning at Echo Point,” the statement said.
