Hollywood movie star Vin Diesel has been accused of sexual assault by his former assistant.
The former assistant Asta Jonasson said the film star, real name Mark Sinclair, sexually assaulted her during the 2010 shoot of Fast Five.
Hollywood Star Accused of Abuse
A lawsuit filed by Asta Jonasson, Vin Diesel’s former assistant, said the actor sexually assaulted the assistant by pushing her towards the wall.
Ms Jonasson also accused the actor of wrongfully terminating her from the company after she was assaulted. The lawsuit also sues Mr Sinclair’s sister production company due to her termination.
Diesel Rejects Accusations
Mr. Sinclair’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, has categorically rejected the accusations in a written statement to CNN.
“This is the first he has ever heard about this more than 13 year old claim made by a purportedly 9 day employee.” the statement said. Ms Jonasson’s lawyer said her client wants to hold Vin Diesel and his associates accountable.
