Ukraine Reduces Military Operations As Foreign Aid Dries Up

Ukraine has warned its Western allies that it’ll cut a significant portion of its military as foreign aid dries up.

Ukraine reducing its military operations will give Russian forces a substantial edge in the war and directly threaten US-led NATO countries.

The Ukrainian top general said troops are facing an ammunition shortage on the frontlines against the Russian forces.

Big problem For Ukraine

Ukrainian top general Oleksandr Tarnavskyi said the shortages hamper the “entire front line” and caused a “big problem” for Kyiv.

“The volumes we have are not sufficient, given our needs,” he said, according to the BBC.

The revelation comes as the US Congress is reluctant to approve $60 billion in aid to Ukraine.

What’s Next

Experts are worried that delaying approving assistance to Ukraine could jeopardize US national interests by leaving allies in limbo.

No aid for Ukraine can signal Putin to ramp up its military operations and seize the entire country.
