Law enforcement officials found Perry dead in his apartment in Los Angeles.
The actor was lying in a hot tub when the police arrived at his residence, the media was told.

The law enforcement officials said they didn’t know who lived in the Pacific Palisades area, where they approached for a water emergency.
According to The Los Angeles Times, the actor was found unresponsive in a hot tub.
The police are investigating the cause of death but have not yet reached any definite conclusion.
