One causality was reported, and multiple others were injured after a roller coaster fell to the ground in Sweden. The Grona Lund amusement park’s Jetline roller coaster in the capital Stockholm derailed and stopped in the air, flying people out of their seats.
People Were Seen Flying Out
According to an eyewitness who stood below the ride, the roller coaster produced strange noises and stopped in the middle of the air. When he looked up, he saw a huge carriage falling to the ground. “the train stopped, and people were flying out, falling out of the carriages”, other eyewitnesses said.
Total Panic
The incident sent shockwaves across the country with some blaming the government for the slow response. The police immediately emptied the park and sealed the area to initiate an investigation into the incident.
