The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladamir Putin for alleged war crimes. The Internation Criminal Court or the ICC accused the Russian President of committing war crimes against Ukrainian civilians including children. The arrest warrant was also issued for Senator Maria Lvova-Belova, Russia’s commissioner for children’s rights appointed by Putin in 2021.
Xcel Energy, A utility company reported a Radioactive Water leak of about 105 million liters. The nuclear power plant located in Minnesota leaked dangerous chemical water but restricted its movement to avoid spillover beyond the facility. Officials from the facility said that the leak was not a public hazard and will be controlled.
Israel’s health ministry has announced to have detected a new Covid variant. The new mutated version infected two people who reportedly went abroad recently. The newer version is a combination of two variants, BA.1 (omicron) and BA.2, according to the health ministry.
