A prominent Virginia high school missed over 1,000 students last week due to a flu-like condition.
According to a Friday post on the school’s Facebook page, Stafford High School outside of Washington, DC, canceled all weekend events and athletics due to the illness that was rife there.
About half of the students at the school have been impacted by an unknown illness. According to US News and World Report, Stafford High School, which is close to Fredericksburg, Virginia, has little over 2,000 students enrolled.
