President Biden stated that the United States will have enough coronavirus vaccines to cover all adults by the end of May. The announcement came after a deal was made with Merck to aid in the manufacture of the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which began delivery in the United States on Tuesday. Biden has launched a new program to have educators vaccinated as quickly as possible.
His exact words were “We want every educator, school staff member, child care worker to receive at least one shot by the end of the month of March. To help make this happen, starting next week and for a month, the month of March, we will be using our federal pharmacy program to prioritize the vaccination of pre-K-through-12 educators and staff and child care workers.”
