US General Warns Possible Conflict With China

A senior US general has hinted that the US is going to engage in a war as early as 2025. The four-star US Air Force General Mike Minihan said that it is highly likely that the US will engage in a fierce battle with China in the coming few years.

Chinese Naval ships were seen sailing close to the United States’ territory of Guam. The People’s Liberation Army naval aircraft carrier sailed close to the United States’ Island. Guam has strategic U.S. naval and air force bases in the Pacific Ocean.  

China Sends Warships Into Pacific Threatening Japan

The tension in the China sea has been extremely dangerous in recent years. With North Korea testing its long-range ballistic missiles to the volatile behaviour of China in the East China sea, the neighbours are expecting a provocation. Recently China has sent warships into the pacific threatening Japan’s territorial integrity.

North Korean Missile Flew Over Japan

For the very first time in 5 years, North Korea fired a ballistic missile over Japan without any warnings. The missile flew over Northern Japan and reported to have landed in the ocean without causing any damage in both air and water. The Ballistic missile travelled a distance of about 2,858 miles with altitude of 621 miles over Japan.

6.9-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Southeast Taiwan

The Taiwanese buildings have been constantly shaking for the past 24 hours. There were a total 20 earthquakes in the past 24 hours in Taiwan. A magnitude 6.9 earthquake hit Taiwan’s south-eastern part today causing 700 people trapped in buildings. The rescue work is going on for the remaining victims of the earthquake.

China Threatens Taiwan As More U.S Officials Visit The Island

The threats initiated after the visit of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi continue as more US lawmakers visit the island. A US delegation composed of 5 key members will meet senior Taiwanese  leaders  to discuss Washington-Taipei   relations, regional security, and trade, 12 days after  US House Speaker Pelosi’s visit and amid increasing tensions with China. A US delegation of lawmakers landed in Taiwan for a two-days visit during increasing tensions between China and Taiwan.

China Discovers Another Deadly Virus

According to reports, a potentially deadly new virus has been found in China and is thought to have been transmitted from shrews (small mole-like mammals) to people.
