Qatar Sending 10,000 Container Homes To Turkey & Syria

Qatar has dispatched world cup home containers to earthquake victims of Turkey and Syria. The container homes were designed for last year’s world cup fans. According to the foreign office statement, the containers will be sent as part of current ongoing relief efforts in the country.

Turkey Restricted Twitter After Deadly Earthquakes

Turkey has restricted the access of twitter for its citizens after the two massive earthquakes that devastated a large portion of Turkey’s infrastructure. The restriction came into play after the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, imposed a national emergency amid chaos. So far 12,000 people have been killed in the two bordering countries, Turkey & Syria.
