In a bizarre twist to the nation’s egg crisis, thieves in Pennsylvania made off with 100,000 eggs from the back of a distribution trailer. The heist takes place right as prices are skyrocketing and shelves are emptying. The egg bandits struck around 8:40 p.m. Saturday in Antrim Township, targeting a Pete & Gerry’s Organics trailer.
