Five Tourists Killed In Bus Crash Near Niagara Falls

Five dead in bus crash after Niagara Falls tour.

A trip to Niagara Falls turned into tragedy on a New York highway.

Five people are dead after a tourist bus carrying 52 passengers overturned near Pembroke, about 40 miles from the famous landmark.

Most on board were visitors from India, China, and the Philippines. Many weren’t wearing seatbelts.

Some were thrown from the bus, others trapped inside for hours as rescuers worked desperately to pull them out.

Ambulances, helicopters, even translators were rushed in to help.

What Went Wrong?

Police say the bus veered into a ditch after losing control.

But here’s the twist — both mechanical failure and driver impairment have been ruled out.

“The operator has been cooperative… No charges have been filed at this point,” said State Police commander Andre Ray Major.

The investigation continues, but answers remain elusive.

The passengers ranged in age from toddlers to seniors.

Children were among those hurt, with many rushed to Buffalo-area hospitals.

Doctors say dozens of adults are expected to make a full recovery.

Witnesses described shattered glass, scattered belongings, and the eerie sight of a bus on its side.

One local simply said: “There was glass all over the road and people’s stuff everywhere.”

As the community reels, ConnectLife has issued an emergency call for blood.

The Red Cross has opened reunification centers.

Because in moments like these, survival often depends not on luck — but on how quickly strangers step in to help.
