Trump Appoints Ex-Fox News Host Tammy Bruce As UN Deputy Ambassador

Trump nominates ex-Fox News host Tammy Bruce as deputy UN ambassador.

Ever wonder who’s speaking for the US on the global stage?

Well, former Fox News host and current State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce is in the spotlight.

President Donald Trump just nominated her to be the US deputy representative to the United Nations — a role with the rank of ambassador, no less.

Trump took to Truth Social to praise Bruce as a “Great Patriot.”

He said she’s done a “fantastic job” since joining the State Department at the start of his second term.

Who Is Tammy Bruce Exactly?

Before her government gig, she spent over 20 years as a conservative commentator on Fox News.

She authored books critical of liberal politics, including one provocatively titled Fear Itself: Exposing the Left’s Mind-Killing Agenda.

In her spokeswoman role, Bruce has defended some hot-button policies — from Trump’s strict immigration actions.

She also defended the controversial deployment of private military contractors delivering aid in Gaza.

Her nomination still needs Senate confirmation, and it’s unclear when she might officially step into the UN role.

Meanwhile, Mike Waltz, Trump’s pick for UN ambassador, is also waiting on the Senate’s green light.
