Boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Jr To Be Deported After ICE Arrest

Boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Jr arrested by US immigration.

What started as a comeback fight against Jake Paul may now end in deportation.

Just days after his high-profile defeat in California, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has been arrested by U.S. immigration agents.

He faces deportation to Mexico — where an active arrest warrant links him to organized crime.

U.S. officials claim the former boxing champ, 39, has ties to the notorious Sinaloa Cartel.

He is wanted for trafficking weapons, ammo, and explosives.

ICE agents picked him up in Studio City, Los Angeles, on Thursday.

What Are The Charges?

The Department of Homeland Security called him a “criminal illegal alien” and said he’s being processed for expedited removal.

Chavez Jr.’s legal team is pushing back.

“This is the first we’ve ever heard of these outrageous allegations,” said attorney Michael Goldstein.

He dismissed the case as “headline hunting to scare the Latin community.”

A U.S. citizen through marriage, Chavez Jr. is accused of lying on immigration documents and overstaying his visa.

Past U.S. charges include weapon possession and DUI.

“I wouldn’t want to be deported,” he said in a recent interview, criticizing immigration raids and Trump’s policies.

But now, that fear may become his reality — and not even a champion’s legacy can block a knockout from federal law.
