The 25-year-old from Glossop, Derbyshire is walking the entire coastline of Australia.
Yes, all 8,948 miles of it—pushing a wheelchair every step of the way.
To raise funds and awareness for motor neurone disease (MND), inspired by Peter Ash’s emotional portrayal of Paul Foreman in Coronation Street.

The Spark That Lit the Fire
One evening, torn between Corrie and a rugby game, Billy had a lightbulb moment.
“We were talking about MND, and my mum just said, ‘Do it then,’” he recalls.
And just like that, his epic journey was born.
No endurance background. No previous big feats.
Just a guy, a dream, and a whole lot of heart.
Billy walks 25 miles a day—blisters, broken toes, and all.
“If people with MND would give anything to walk to the end of the street, then I can walk this for them,” he says.
His girlfriend Lucy drives their support van, handles spider patrol (Billy’s terrified), and keeps morale up.

A Surprise Star-Studded Moment
The cherry on top? A surprise call from Peter Ash himself.
“Incredible,” the actor told Billy—because that’s exactly what this challenge is.
From small screens to wide open roads, Billy’s turning fiction into powerful, purposeful action.
