Tesla just got the boot from one of Canada’s biggest auto events—and it’s not because of their cars.
Organizers of the Vancouver International Auto Show removed the company from this week’s lineup, citing safety concerns over the growing wave of anti-Tesla protests.
The event’s executive director, Eric Nicholl, made it clear: keeping attendees safe comes first.
“This decision will ensure all attendees can be solely focused on enjoying the many positive elements of the event,” he stated.
Tesla has been under fire lately, both literally and figuratively.
Tesla Struggling On The Business front
In Las Vegas, an arsonist torched vehicles at a Tesla repair facility, and in Florida, dozens of Cybertrucks were vandalized with graffiti targeting Elon Musk.
The controversy isn’t just about the cars—it’s personal.
Musk’s political alliances and inflammatory remarks, including his claim that “Canada is not a real country,” have fueled backlash.

Meanwhile, Tesla is also struggling on the business front.
The company recently reported its first-ever annual sales drop, and used Tesla prices are plummeting faster than the rest of the auto market.
With all this turmoil, getting kicked out of an auto show might be the least of Tesla’s problems.
The bigger question is: can the brand weather the storm, or is this just the beginning of a larger breakdown?
