South Korea just had an explosive mishap.
During a live-fire drill with U.S. forces, two fighter jets accidentally dropped eight bombs outside the designated training zone, turning a quiet neighborhood in Pocheon into an unintended warzone.
The reason? A pilot punched in the wrong coordinates.
Talk about a high-stakes typo. The result? 29 people injured, including 14 soldiers and 15 civilians, two of whom are in serious condition.
Homes, a church, and even a truck were blown to bits.
One local, caught in the chaos, recalled, “I was driving when I heard a bang. When I woke up, I was in an ambulance.”
A training Drill Gone Wrong
Another described the explosion as “like a thunderclap” that sent shockwaves through their house.
South Korea’s Air Force quickly apologized, paused all live-fire exercises, and promised compensation.
Meanwhile, North Korea wasted no time condemning the drills, warning the U.S. and South Korea of “severe consequences.”
This isn’t the first blunder—back in 2022, a missile misfired and crashed on a golf course.
