YouTuber Stings Himself With Most Venomous Fish in The World

Why would anyone willingly get stung by the “most venomous fish in the world”?

YouTuber Mark Vins, host of Brave Wilderness, decided to find out firsthand—and the results were as intense as you’d expect.

Stonefish is the most venomous fish in the world.

Vins Already Experimented With Lionfish

After experimenting with lionfish and scorpionfish stings, Vins upped the ante by taking on the stonefish.

Found lurking in coral and rocky reefs, the stonefish blends seamlessly with its surroundings, making it a nightmare for unsuspecting swimmers and surfers.

To educate viewers about this stealthy predator, Vins located one of these toxic fish in the waiter.

The Sting Comes

After showing how dangerous and beautiful Stonefish’s spikes were, Vins subjugated himself to its sting and the scene was everything but pretty.

Moments after pressing his hand onto the stonefish’s spike, Vins described the pain as “immediate fire” radiating from his fingers up his arm and into his neck.

Stonefish has bright blue spikes hiding along its spine.

Despite applying hot water—critical for neutralizing the venom—he was left in agony and admitted to lingering numbness a month later.
