Mysterious Flying Objects Seen Over Three US Air Bases in UK

The US Air Force (USAF) has announced that it has seen three mysterious drones over three bases in the United Kingdom.

The USAF confirmed the incidents and said they spotted around three unmanned aerial vehicles over three of its air bases, but they didn’t pose any threat.

The United States Air Force said they spotted three drones in total.

Which Air Basis Saw The UAVs?

Between Wednesday and Friday, “small unmanned aerial systems” were spotted over RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Feltwell in eastern England.

The drones, whose size and configurations varied, were actively monitored but didn’t pose an immediate threat to residents or infrastructure, according to the USAF.

What Were The Drones?

The USAF said they could not see if the drones were armed but emphasized their “right to protect” the installations.

“The number of UASs fluctuated and they ranged in size/configuration,” they said in a joint statement.

Both the USAF and the British Ministry of Defence (MOD) are taking the incident very seriously.
