Russia warned of World War 3 after US President Joe Biden allowed Ukraine to use US-made missiles to strike it.
The decision comes after months of fears in Washington that such a decision would provoke Putin to strike Europe in response.
Previously, Russian President Vladamir Putin warned that it would consider the decision to equip Ukraine with missiles to strike Moscow, “an act of war”.
Fury in Moscow
Policymakers in the Russian Federation are furious over the decision made by the outgoing US President.
Russian lawmaker Maria Butina told Reuters that the Biden administration was risking World War 3 with his decision.
“They (Americans” are seriously risking the start of World War Three which is not in anybody’s interest,” the lawmaker told the news agency.
Trump Response
In response to Biden’s decision, Trump said Biden was playing in the hands of the “military-industrial complex”.
“The Military Industrial Complex seems to want to make sure they get World War 3,” he responded.
