Malcolm X’s Family Sues CIA, FBI & NYPD For Allowing Assassination

The family of Malcolm X has filed a $100 million wrongful-death lawsuit against the FBI, CIA, and New York Police Department (NYPD).

The lawsuit alleges that the mentioned agencies conspired to allow the assassination of Malcolm X nearly 60 years ago.

The suit was brought by Malcolm X’s daughter, Ilyasah Shabazz, and other family members, according to the media. 

Allegations in the Lawsuit

The lawsuit accuses the agencies of participating in a conspiracy to assassinate Malcolm X.

The lawsuit mentions that these agencies knew about the threats against Malcolm X and didn’t prevent the attempt on his life.

  Malcolm X died tragically after he was shot multiple times on February 21, 1965, at the Audubon Ballroom in New York City.

The lawsuit was filed by Malcolm X’s daughter, Ilyasah Shabazz, along with other family members.

Agencies Didn’t Respond

The New York Police Department has not commented directly on the new lawsuit but previously declined to address similar allegations.

The FBI and CIA did not immediately respond to inquiries upon request from multiple media organizations.
