A North Korean balloon carrying trash has dumped rubbish on the office of South Korean President, South Korean media reported.
Media reported that a North Korean balloon was also carrying anti-South propaganda and graphic material as it landed on the grounds of South Korea’s presidential compound in the capital, Seoul.
Second Such Incident
This is the second incident of its kind in recent months.
The last such incident took place in July when a similar balloon flew over the Presidential office of the South Korean leader.
After inspection, the South Korean presidential security service found no dangerous materials on the balloon.
The balloons contained leaflets that attacked South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon Hee, calling them immoral and corrupt.
Kim Yo Jong, the influential sister of the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, is suspected of sending the balloon herself as revenge, the S. Korean media observed.
