Some of the world’s largest corporations mentioned in the report include Amazon, Tesla, Meta, ExxonMobil, Blackstone, Vanguard, and Glencore.
According to the report published today (Monday), the companies are also undermining workers’ and human rights.
What Are Companies Accused of?
The ITUC report highlights that Amazon is continuously busting unions, low wages, carbon emissions, tax evasion, and political lobbying.
Tesla is criticized for its anti-union stance and human rights abuses within its supply chains, while Meta is accused of enabling far-right propaganda on its platforms.
Other corporations, such as Blackstone and Glencore, are implicated for their involvement in financing far-right movements and harming Indigenous communities.
