The United States and the United Kingdom have expressed serious concerns over possible Russia-Iran nuclear cooperation.
The Guardian reported that Iran was getting something bigger in scale for providing long-range ballistic missiles to Russia, i.e. a possible cooperation between the countries over nuclear weapons.
Iran’s nuclear weapons program has raised eyebrows in the west for decades but the latest development comes amid volatile regional tensions.
Cooperation Will Speedup The Process
British sources talking to The Guardian anonymously confirmed that the Iranian nuclear potential would increase if the rumors turned out to be true.
Working with experienced Russian specialists or using Russian knowledge would help speed up the manufacturing process,” the British newspaper wrote citing sources.
The sources told the newspaper that they are not sure since when the two countries started the dangerous cooperation, but it will destabilize the region.
