Pope Franics has made headlines for calling both of the leading political figures in the US as “against life”.
When asked who the Catholics should vote for in the US November elections, he said they should choose for the “lesser evil” as they are both against life.
The sovereign of the Vatican City State meant to say that both the political figures in the US have chosen to implement anti-life policies, Harris for being pro-abortion and Trump for being anti-immigrant.
Who is The Lesser Evil?
While calling the republicans and the democrats as evil, Pope urges Catholics to vote for lesser evil instead.
In response to a reporters’ question about who was the lesser evil, Francis responded with I don’t know. Everyone, in conscience, [has to] think and do this.”
But he also discouraged voters from not voting at all saying, “Not voting is ugly. It is not good. You must vote.”
