A 3,500-year-old jar, dating back to the Bronze Age, was accidentally smashed into pieces by a curious four-year-old boy during a visit to an Israeli museum.
The jar, which had been on display in the Hecht Museum in Israel, was considered a rare and intact artifact from between 2200 and 1500 BC.

Boy’s Father Was Shocked
The boy’s father, Alex, told the BBC that he was shocked and couldn’t believe that his son smashed the artifact.
“At first, I thought it wasn’t my child that did it,” he told the BBC. After calming his son, Alex reported the accident to a museum security guard.
Despite the unfortunate mishap, the museum has responded with understanding, inviting the family back for an organized tour.

Boy Accidently Smashed The Jar
Lihi Laszlo, a representative from the museum, confirmed to the BBC that the incident was purely accidental.
The museum appointed a conservation expert to restore the jar, and it is expected to be returned to its display in a short time.
